Job summary

enGen Summer 2027 Software Engineer Graduate Internship is designed to provide graduate students with hands-on experience in developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions.

Embedded within the DCSS application development team, interns will contribute to application development, API integrations, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives, while collaborating with engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or pursuing in related field.
• Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders during assignments and issue resolution.
• Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and prepare reporting with recommendations or alternatives.
• Engage in related studies or enrichment programs to support objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
