Highmark Health’s Summer 2027 Software Engineer enGen Graduate Internship offers graduate students hands-on experience in developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions. Based in Georgia, the intern will work within the DCSS application development team on API integrations, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives.

The role involves collaboration with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners through the full software development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent.
Pursuit of a graduate degree (full or part-time) is required.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives.
Participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternatives for action.
