Job summary

enGen offers a Summer 2027 Graduate Internship for software engineers to gain hands-on experience in enterprise healthcare technology solutions. Interns will work within the DCSS application development team on development, API integrations, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software engineers, architects and product owners in an Agile setting, including design, coding, testing and documentation to deliver secure, scalable applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree (full or part-time) preferred.
• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test application components.
• Support APIs and system integrations.
• Contribute to modernization efforts and cloud-enabled solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts and product owners.
• Document technical designs and implementation details.
