Job summary

enGen Internship is a Summer 2027 Software Engineer program designed for graduate students to gain hands-on experience in developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions. You will work within the DCSS application development team, collaborating with engineers, architects, analysts, and product owners throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Pursuit of a graduate degree (full or part-time) in an accredited college or university.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Assist in developing, testing, and modernizing enterprise healthcare software components.
Participate in API integrations, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives.
Contribute to solution design, coding, testing, and documentation across the SDLC.
Collaborate with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners.
Support DevOps practices and enterprise application architecture.
Attend Agile ceremonies and deliver on assigned projects.
