Emerson's Process Systems and Solutions business is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Round Rock, TX. You will explore and prototype software in AI/ML and control domains, work on frontend, backend, and UX, and participate in an agile team to scope and execute projects.

You will gain real-world experience, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop in C#, Go, and Python while learning APIs, frameworks, and ML techniques.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with algorithms, networking, and language development in C/C++, C#, Go, and Python.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and learn product development using agile methods.
• Familiarize with frontend reactive frameworks.
• Design and implement APIs.
• Apply AI technologies to frontend features.
• Learn about AI/ML algorithms.
• Explore MCP, Ollama LLMs and agentic framework.
• Build software in C#, Go, and Python.
