SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Starship Software team to design, develop, and test software used to control and simulate flight systems. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to implement solutions across application, OS, networking, firmware, and simulation layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software, electrical engineering, or related field
• Graduating with a degree in 2027 or earlier is expected

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable autonomous software and the simulations required to validate them
• Own all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and integration
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain launch and vehicle software
• Work on high-performance flight hardware software across multiple layers
• Contribute to transitioning from hardware challenges to actual flight and deployment of satellites
