Job summary

Govineer is seeking an early-career software engineer to help build AI-enabled products across the full stack—frontend, backend, APIs, data, and model integration—with room to experiment and the responsibility to turn promising ideas into dependable software.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and customers to define problems before choosing a technical approach, write tests and docs, and ship well-tested features that improve the product and user experience.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid programming fundamentals and at least one working application or substantial project.
• Familiarity with one frontend framework and one backend language, plus APIs, databases, version control, and testing basics.
• Interest in AI/ML and practical curiosity about model APIs, data quality, evaluation, and responsible use.
• Strong learning habits, collaborative communication, and care for the people using the software.

Position: Graduate Software Engineer, AI Product Engineering

The opportunity

Govineer is looking for an early-career software engineer with a computer science foundation who wants to build AI-enabled products that customers actually use. You will work with experienced engineers and product leaders across the full stack: user experience, APIs, data, model integration, evaluation, and production reliability. You will have room to experiment and a responsibility to turn promising ideas into dependable software.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a primarily office-based or remote role involving standard computer work. The position requires the ability to work independently, manage recurring deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a deadline-driven environment. Regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders is expected, with an emphasis on providing responsive, professional, and solution-oriented support. Primarily office-based or remote role with moderate travel (15-25% annually), consisting of on-site engagements, team meetings, and company events. Occasional weekend travel may be required to accommodate work and meeting schedules.
