Vertiv seeks a Service Technology Research Intern to advance next-generation service technologies for cooling and power systems in high-performance computing and AI-driven data centers.

The role welcomes graduate students (master's, doctoral, PhD) pursuing engineering, data science, computer science, digital systems or related fields, and emphasizes translating research into deployable service concepts and pilots.

Qualifications

• Graduate students in engineering, applied sciences, CS, data science, reliability engineering, controls, digital systems, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with research, thesis, capstone, lab, or applied projects relevant to service technology.
• Interest or experience in predictive maintenance, data analytics, ML, IoT systems, controls, sensors, diagnostics, thermal/power systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research into emerging service technologies for condition-based maintenance, digital services, IoT-enabled diagnostics, reliability engineering, and analytics.
• Translate academic concepts into practical service use cases, pilots, proofs of concept, or technology recommendations.
• Evaluate algorithms, models, architectures, tools, or methods to improve service efficiency and diagnostics.
