Utah Valley University invites applications for a full-time three semester non-tenure track faculty position in School Counseling. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in School Counseling and other courses per their training and experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in school counseling or related discipline.
• Experience teaching graduate courses and advising students is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and participate in accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs, prepares, and teaches graduate courses in School Counseling and undergraduate courses as needed.
• Maintains and submits accurate records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance.
• Assists advisors, department chair, staff, and faculty in maintaining an effective program; engages with students and community; maintains office hours.
• Works with state entities and UVU departments for program development; serves on committees; participates in accreditation processes.
• Supports scheduling of courses in School Counseling; assists with field placements and site visits; supports graduate applications and interviews.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
