You will collaborate with research engineers to design and implement wireless communications waveforms on SDR platforms, focusing on digital communications, firmware, and SoC-based solutions for DoW-related projects.

The role requests a Master’s or PhD pursuit in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, full-time enrollment, a 3.0+ GPA, and 15–20 hours weekly

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD at Georgia Tech in Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)
• Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week
• Experience with SDR platforms and software-defined radio is preferred

Responsibilities

• Review, modify, implement, and test communication waveforms on SDR platforms
• Build new communication blocks and signal processing algorithms for a unified platform (SoC)
• Develop firmware for FPGA-based signal processing
• Document work and communicate results to the team
