Qualifications

Applicants must be full-time doctoral students at Penn State University Park.
Strong communication, organization and technical skills are required.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Support community-scale synthesis research by contributing to NCEMS Working Groups.
Process and analyze molecular datasets, including transcriptomics and gene regulatory data.
Develop, run, and maintain reproducible computational pipelines and workflows.
Integrate and analyze multi-omics or multi-modal datasets for synthesis research.
Contribute to additional project areas including machine learning and applications in proteomics and molecular dynamics.
Produce and maintain well-documented code, notebooks and workflows.
Provide weekly progress updates during meetings with mentoring staff.
Prepare interim and final reports or presentations as requested.
Participate in regular meetings with mentoring staff and Working Group members to review progress.
