Job summary

CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY OF HONOLULU seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology (non-tenure track) to teach graduate psychology courses and advise students in the PsyD Clinical Psychology program. The role advances curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation while supporting student success through regular office hours.

The position is 11 months, exempt, and reports to the Hawai‘i School of Professional Psychology Program Director.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology required.
• Licensure as Clinical Psychologist or license-eligible in Hawai‘i required.
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly research.
• Experience working with culturally and ethnically diverse students in Hawai‘i.

Responsibilities

• Teach 18 graduate credit hours per academic year.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Advise on dissertations and student research.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation.
• Engage in program scholarship and university service.
