Northeastern University in Boston seeks a 52-week non-tenure track faculty member to serve as Associate/Full Teaching Professor and Director of Graduate Programs, leading MS and PhD programs with an emphasis on innovative curricula, assessment, and global partnerships.

The role combines teaching with governance, curriculum development, and strategy for graduate education, including industry collaborations and expansion across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or related field.
• Significant experience in graduate education leadership or program development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative curricula.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience with committee governance, curriculum, programmatic assessment, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary academic and administrative lead for graduate programs ensuring alignment with NECHE and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee curriculum governance, updates, and compliance for MS/PhD programs.
• Chair the MS/PhD Committee and advance its agenda.
• Develop industry collaborations and funding opportunities.
• Oversee student progression, advising structures, and milestones.
• Lead recruitment, enrollment growth and international pipelines.
• Represent the program in external and internal meetings and events.
