Job summary

Human Learning Systems seeks a Career Transition Specialist in Fargo to support Job Corps graduates and former enrollees with placement activities and required surveys. You will coordinate placement, track outcomes, and collaborate with employers and agencies to ensure successful transitions.

The role involves developing employer linkages, coaching on resumes and interview skills, and maintaining placement plans to meet program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely placement and retention of graduates and former enrollees in quality placement activities.
• Places forty percent of graduates within thirty days of leaving the center.
• Ensures that students take a positive six- and twelve-month survey.
• Promotes job development through employers, one-stops, and state employment agencies and career transition contractors.
• Develops new company linkages each month to hire graduates and place assignees in same prior to separation.
