Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to prepare you for a Pharmacist role. You will apply your didactic learning in real‑world practice under a preceptor and district leader, completing a 120‑day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn patient safety, drug utilization review (DUR), SOPs, empathy, and effective communication while supporting pharmacy teams to ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescriptions.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Contribute to patient safety and high-quality service by following SOPs and pharmacy workflows.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide counseling and answer medical questions under supervision when appropriate.
• Support immunization services and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law.
