Job summary

CVS Health's Graduate Pharmacy Intern program prepares you for a Pharmacist role by applying your didactic learning in real-world settings within CVS stores. You will follow a 120-day training roadmap under your preceptor and district leader to advance patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, learn SOPs, and develop communication and empathy in a caring, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services under supervision
• Demonstrate empathy and positive patient interactions while adhering to SOPs and company policies
