Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program in Texas, where you will apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role under a preceptor. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately while developing empathy and caring for patients.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate customer service and teamwork by helping patients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy staff.
• Perform pharmacy-related tasks with accuracy and attention to safety.
• Maintain physical demands of the job including standing for long periods.
