Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice under the supervision of a pharmacist and district leader. The 120-day training roadmap focuses on store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, and high-quality service.

You will learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team, following SOPs and standards, while developing clinical and technical knowledge to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate required before starting program.
• Must be able to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines within the specified timeframe.
• Intern and/or technician licensure required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Attend Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety and accuracy in prescription labeling.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and team.
• Assist pharmacists with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by state law.
