Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in a California CVS retail location. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under supervision to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, learn SOPs, and develop skills in patient safety, DUR, and excellent customer service while advancing toward greater responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
• Must be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues and provide counseling when appropriate.
