Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world pharmacy practice. Under a preceptor and district leadership, you will complete a 120‑day training roadmap and participate in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while learning store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn to provide patient‑centered care, support immunizations, and grow toward greater responsibility as you gain licensure and experience in a CVS

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care while serving patients and colleagues.
• Counsel patients, obtain relevant medical history, and support safe medication use.
• Take telephonic prescriptions, clarify as needed, and escalate when appropriate.
• Support inventory, dosing accuracy, and adherence to SOPs under supervision.
