Job summary

CVS Health offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program that blends didactic learning with real-world practice to prepare you for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor's guidance, you will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap spanning store, district, and regional operations to strengthen patient safety and error prevention.

You will support dispensing accuracy, SOP adherence, and compassionate patient care while learning from pharmacists and technicians across the network.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrates empathy and genuine care in customer interactions and supports pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate dispensing.
• Comply with SOPs and state/federal regulations to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling and business needs.
