Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply academic learning in real-world store operations. You will train under a pharmacist preceptor, complete a 120-day roadmap, and participate in patient-focused care to prepare for a pharmacist role.

You will help with dispensing, patient interactions, immunizations where allowed by law, and adherence to SOPs while developing leadership and clinical skills in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a US-accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly
• Counsel patients, provide empathetic service, and support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by state regulations
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Support inventory activities and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores across the market as needed
