Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program focuses on transforming patient care by immersing you in a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. Under supervision, you will support pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

You will learn through hands-on experience and leadership interactions, emphasizing patient safety, SOP adherence, and opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, be friendly, respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute dosage, daily supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose best course of action.
