Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to prepare you for a Pharmacist role. Under the guidance of a preceptor and District Leader, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, applying didactic learning to real-world practice.

You will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, patient safety, DUR, and counseling, while learning SOPs, quality standards, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentration on a task over time and ability to pivot between tasks.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate doses, days supply, and quantities for prescriptions.
