Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will apply your didactic training to real-world practice under the direction of a preceptor and district leader, completing a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

As you grow, you will support medication safety, customer service, and immunization services while learning store, district, and regional operations within a caring, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days from graduation)
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately
• Learn and follow SOPs, best practices and effective communication
• Counsel patients when appropriate, escalate issues to licensed pharmacist
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by law
• Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed by the business
