Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and learn through a structured 120-day training roadmap. Under supervision, you will focus on patient safety, drug utilization review, and high-quality service in a retail setting.

You will progress toward greater accountability, assist in immunizations, counseling, and coordinating with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines (120 days after graduation).
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowable by law.
• Learn and follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Provide counseling and gather patient information to support optimal care.
