Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS store pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap, under a preceptor, to deepen patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

You will assist with operations to ensure timely, safe prescription fulfillment, while learning SOPs, empathetic patient care, and opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Learn to operate under SOPs and demonstrate empathy and genuine care in interactions with patients and colleagues
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions where allowed by state regulation
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as permitted by law and training
