Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and to complete a 120‑day training roadmap under supervision. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will learn SOPs, gain mentoring from district leaders, and expand clinical knowledge while preparing for pharmacist responsibilities, with immunization support as allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer interactions and team communications
• Learn to operate SOPs and participate in training milestones
• Support immunizations and other pharmacist services where permitted by law
• Comply with federal/state laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
