Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under the supervision of a pharmacist preceptor and district leaders, following a structured 120-day training roadmap to deepen your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

As you progress, you will assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and prescription fulfillment while maintaining patient safety,

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate patient service, empathy, and communication to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians with workflow and patient counseling under supervision.
• Maintain SOPs and compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
