Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to rotate through store operations and pharmacy teams, applying didactic learning to real-world practice under supervision. You will complete a 120-day comprehensive training roadmap focused on patient safety, DUR, SOP adherence, and excellent service.

As you advance, you’ll assist with immunizations and other pharmacist responsibilities, learn to counsel patients, and support an inclusive, patient-centered culture across CVS stores.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Support operations within the pharmacy and learn SOPs through hands-on experience.
• Provide empathetic patient service and respond to questions under supervision.
• Contribute to immunization services where permitted by law and training.
• Learn to counsel patients and collect medication history when appropriate.
