Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern in Missouri to join our pharmacy team. You will apply your didactic learning to real-world practice, under a pharmacist preceptor, and follow a 120-day training roadmap to build competency in store operations and patient safety.

You will assist with immunizations, prescriptions, and customer service while preparing for increased responsibility in a supportive environment and under CVS policies to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: perform basic calculations for dispensing and dosing.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague issues effectively.
• Physical Demands: physical stamina to stand and move in a pharmacy setting.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
