Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy practice. You will work under a preceptor to complete a 120-day training roadmap, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate totals and quantities for prescriptions.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: long periods of mobility and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
