Job summary

CVS Health in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to gain real-world experience while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations to enhance patient safety and performance.

You will learn SOPs, participate in immunization activities where allowed, and support pharmacy teams to deliver compassionate service while developing clinical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Adhere to SOPs and demonstrate patient-centered service
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunization services where permitted
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced store environment
