Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience under a pharmacist preceptor, with a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations. You will learn patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence while supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service.

As you progress, responsibilities expand to supervision, inventory tasks, immunizations where allowed, and cross-store coverage to meet business

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; 120 days post‑graduation.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly and safely.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in patient interactions and follow SOPs.
• Counsel patients and answer questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs when required.
