Job summary

CVS Health offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program where you will apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations within our stores. You will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap under a licensed pharmacist preceptor, supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service that aligns with CVS Health standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to use math to solve a problem related to dispensing medications
• Problem Resolution: Identifying challenging patient or colleague interactions and choosing the best course of action
• Physical Demands: Be mobile and perform tasks requiring lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
