Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern for our Roanoke, VA location to apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under licensed pharmacist supervision. The 120‑day training roadmap accelerates readiness for a Pharmacist role, emphasizing patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence.

You will support the pharmacy team, participate in immunizations where allowed by state law, and develop clinical and technical knowledge while delivering caring service to patients.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow SOPs to ensure patient safety and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist the pharmacy team and contribute to a high‑performing, empathetic patient experience.
