Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to translate classroom learning into real‑world pharmacy practice within store operations. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap over 120 days, support pharmacists and technicians, and learn SOPs while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service.

Under supervision, you will develop skills in immunizations, DUR, and patient communication, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may result in separation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and ensure label accuracy; pivot between tasks as needed.
• Customer service and team orientation: assist patients and colleagues with care and service.
• Strong communication: clear verbal and written interactions with patients and team members.
• Mathematical reasoning: calculate days' supply, tablets, and prescription quantities.
• Problem resolution: address patient or colleague issues effectively.
• Physical demands: mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and long periods on duty.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
