Job summary

CVS Health in Vermont is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will follow a 120‑day training roadmap, support pharmacy operations, and focus on patient safety and service excellence.

Under supervision, you will learn to counsel patients, handle prescriptions, and participate in immunization activities where permitted, contributing to a safe, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Learn SOPs and apply best practices while demonstrating empathy and care to patients.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision and support immunization efforts where allowed.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe and participate in the training roadmap.
