Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team in a store environment. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap, and work under a preceptor to deepen understanding of patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

You will support pharmacy operations to ensure timely, safe, and accurate dispensing while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Follow SOPs to assist pharmacists and technicians in patient care
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, including immunizations and other services where allowed by law
• Maintain high patient safety standards and effective communication within the pharmacy team
