Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learnings to real-world practice in our pharmacy teams. Under supervision of a preceptor and district leader, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, focusing on patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence, while providing caring, accurate service to customers.

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and respond to patient needs with empathy.
Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and dispensing quantities.
