Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply school learning in real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days, support pharmacy operations, and ensure safe, accurate prescription processing with compassionate patient care.

As readiness grows, you may assist with immunizations, counseling, and telephonic prescriptions, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and state regulations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may result in separation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required for the intern role.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist with pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Provide customer service with empathy and care, counseling patients when appropriate under supervision.
• Support immunization services where allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling and coverage as needed.
