Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a graduate pharmacist intern to join our pharmacy team. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will help ensure a safe and efficient Retail Pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care and service.

This part-time role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork across the store’s pharmacy operations. You will contribute to patient care programs, assist in training Pharmacy Support Staff, and support growth opportunities within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before PGY with CVS Health.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience or as required by state.
• Valid pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure per state BOP.
• Must have strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe, effective Retail Pharmacy environment under licensed pharmacist.
• Support patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service.
• Manage inventory and workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
• Lead with empathy, motivate staff, and drive performance improvements.
