Job summary

Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring graduate nurses to start their nursing careers under licensed supervision. Shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a with weekly pay and hourly rates of $35–$40 for LPNs and $42–$47 for RNs, depending on shift.

New graduates must have completed a MA board-approved nursing program within one year of hire and be eligible to take the NCLEX within 90 days. Training and supervision are provided to ensure safe, competent patient care.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Graduation from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing education program within one year of hire.
• Eligibility to take NCLEX within 90 days of hire.
• Can be for LPN or RN.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing practices and related laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Meet nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain resident care plans for all residents under supervision.
• Follow physician orders and provide nursing care and treatments as directed.
• Transcribe and verify physician orders promptly.
• Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive nursing notes and visit residents daily.
• Administer medications according to procedure and maintain drug safety.
• Initiate emergency procedures as necessary and maintain patient safety.
