BJC HealthCare’s Progress West Hospital is seeking a Graduate Nurse to provide direct patient care as you transition from nursing school to licensure. You will complete licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed in Missouri, and participate in patient education, planning, and evaluation alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• Nurse graduate onboarding and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration.
• Assesses, diagnoses, and evaluates patient needs within nursing standards.
• Develops and implements plans of care with the healthcare team and promotes family-centered care.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans during the stay.
• Supports patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development.
