Baptist Health Walker Hospital in Jasper, Alabama, is seeking a Graduate Nurse for full-time night shifts in Intermediate Care. This 267-bed facility offers a broad range of services and supports nurses with day-one benefits.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-acuity patient care, monitor patients, document care, and participate in planning and education to support patient and family needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current State of Alabama RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes information to anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Identifies information to take evidence-based, patient-focused action.
• Monitors equipment and interprets electronic displays on patient monitors.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized care plan.
