SolutionHealth's Fuller unit at Elliot Hospital Manchester NH is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality post-surgical and trauma care. Under RN supervision, you’ll assist with care plans, family interactions, and care transitions in a 55-60 bed unit that emphasizes evidence-based practice.

The role requires ASN with eligibility for BSN enrollment (BSN preferred). Night shifts available with a focus on team collaboration and professional growth.

Job Description:

Who We Are: The Fuller unit is a 55-60 bed, Post-Surgical and Trauma Unit with approximately 160 employees. The average patient census is 34-38 with a focus on adult post-surgical (total knee and hip replacement), telemetry, stroke, and general medical. Our Fuller Unit provides an outstanding supportive environment and advanced training for its staff. Elliot Hospital is designated as an Orthopaedic Center of Excellence!

About the Job:

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

What You’ll Do:

Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment. Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings. Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement. Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.

Who You Are:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ASN Required with active enrolled in BSN enrollment in a program (signed BSN commitment form needed). BSN Preferred. Graduate Nurse status is designated for those individuals who hold temporary licensure to practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This status is maintained from date of hire until the issuance of a permanent license by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing. Ability to obtain BCLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice. Ability to advance basic computer skills as the health system adds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.
