Providence Covenant Medical Center is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct patient care, employing the nursing process to assess and address patient needs. New graduates are welcome to perform functions within their trained scope under supervision, while preparing for Texas licensure and NCLEX.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to sit for the NCLEX and obtain Texas RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Texas Graduate Nurse Permit or Texas RN license upon hire.

• Under direct supervision, uses the nursing process to care for a group of patients safely and efficiently.
• Assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes, and evaluate patient care plans using information from multiple sources.
• Act as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to enhance the patient experience.

Under direct supervision, independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care. The GN serves as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to enhance the patient experience. New graduates are permitted to perform any function that falls within the scope of nursing practice for which they have received educational preparation and have demonstrated minimal competency.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidates must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the state of Texas.
