Providence is offering up to $6,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Under direct supervision, the nurse uses the nursing process to safely care for a group of patients at Covenant Medical Center in Texas.

New graduates are welcome and will perform nursing duties within their scope of practice. Providence emphasizes a patient-centered culture and a supportive environment with comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Under direct supervision, independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care. The GN serves as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to enhance the patient experience. New graduates are permitted to perform any function that falls within the scope of nursing practice for which they have received educational preparation and have demonstrated minimal competency.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
