Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a registered nurse for the CTSICU at Allegheny General Hospital. Provide direct patient care, perform clinical assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 24-bed ICU.

Full-time role requires PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC), CPR certification, and required background clearances. Shift is 72 hours every two weeks with rotating weekends/holidays, in a Platinum ECMO center.

THE UNIT:

The Allegheny General CTSICU is 24 beds with all single occupancy rooms. The Unit provides post-surgical ICU care to cardiac, thoracic, vascular and transplant patients. Nurses are trained to scrub and circulate on the floor, as well as provide support and treatment to patients with mechanical circulatory devices (VAD, ECMO, Impella, balloon pump). The unit is proud to be a Platinum Level ECMO Center of Excellence and holds the Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification (C4).

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification
