Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Nurse Assistant training course within the past 60 days.
• Must be able to obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire; title will change to CNA upon certification.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Provide lifting, transferring, and postural support.
• Maintain resident positioning and assist with care as needed.
• Weigh residents as scheduled and document results.
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative nursing services.
• Respond to resident and family needs within your scope of practice.
